Tom brings an unconventional approach to business problems and has a passion for providing solutions through technology which, he believes, helps break through limitations both physical and intellectual.  His professional experience includes representing entrepreneurs as well as investors and high-growth companies.  An entrepreneur himself, Tom has started a successful high tech company.

A biking enthusiast, Tom is a member of Bike Virginia, a 501(c)(3) organization supporting active transportation, and Virginia Bicycling Federation, another 501(c)(3) organization supporting general cycling issues.

Tom is just as passionate and high-energy outside his professional life.  In 1994, he competed in a nonstop coast-to-coast cycling ultra endurance event as part of a four-man relay team.  He continues to bike, commuting to work whenever possible.  When not on his bike, Tom enjoys writing, inventing gadgets, building kayaks, cooking, and listening to a wide range of music.
