Having lost my eyesight in 1997, I now have insights that I like to share with others.  Working for half of my career with eyesight and half without, I can speak to the benefits and challenges of employing people with disabilities from the business perspective as well as that of an employee with a disability.  I talk about bringing diversity to the workforce and about disability etiquette.  A favorite topic of requestors is about the hardest working dogs in town (service dogs in the workplace).  I also speak on topics that are more motivational in nature, focusing  on helping people through life’s challenges, learning and growing from those challenges, and making  the most of the situation at hand.
